‘There’s a place in your heart and
I know that it is love…….’ Thus go the lyrics of the song ‘Heal the world’ by
the singer of happy memory; Michael Jackson. The topic that I am going to
elaborate is peace. I believe that peace can take place only in an environment
of love. Peace and love in a way go hand in hand; they are like the two sides
of a coin. St. Mother Teresa says, “Peace begins with a smile.” What she said
about peace makes sense because of the simple principle of give and take that
she has put forth.
There
are so many people in the world who are frantically searching for peace in
various things and different places. Peace is an inner state of being more than
an exterior state. Like happiness one can choose to possess peace in one’s
heart. Peace truly begins with a smile; hence let us never forget to light up
our face with a smile.
